Site is located close to the Riga City center in a mixed building environment from pre-war buildings to soviet time.

Site consists of three residential buildings with connected green courtyards and a small park. The landscape is organized to be open for public but with a certain privacy for local residents.

To blend in the architectural pattern of Riga Historical Center there are several facade techniques used – white tinted concrete, dark tinted concrete, exposed gravels and brick facade.

A 12-metre-wide public pedestrian walkway connects Viesturdārzs to the inner courtyard and creates a transparent, spacious environment - a sense of park-like development.

Viesturdārzs Quarter creates a new typology of residential buildings in the context of Riga by encouraging Riga residents to a Nordic open lifestyle.
