Public route on the shoreline connect public functions and local services creating continuous public route through the district with diverse landscape — starting with green forest-park area, beach area, continued with the main public area in the district with sauna, public outdoor pool, harbour and location for public facilities, and further leading through the neighbourhood as a lively green city street.
The new district is connected to the city with the main inner street that provides pedestrian/bike/car connections to every housing unit and public facilities and join the new tram stop to the district. Inner street has three main connections to the outer area. Inside the new district mainly wohner type streets are created to provide maximum mobility for sustainable transportation (walking/bike use). Car parking is organised in two separate buildings and additionally on the main street with parkings of electric vehicle charging stations.
Water transportation has been set as one of the main priority. A ferry terminal is created at the center of the public shoreline route; various types of boat/yacht/vessel parking spaces are created along the shoreline. Grid orientation and the new water canal provides each residential block with direct connection to the lake. Each housing unit is provided with a boat parking.
Three housing types are proposed — residential block with inner courtyard, residential unit on the water and townhouses on the water.
Public and local services are grouped in two main hubs with direct connections to the main inner street. Other services are located on the ground level providing lively and diverse urban experience.
